Partiful is the latest party planning app known as “Eventbrite for Gen Z.” When it comes to digital party planning and invites, most are familiar-ish with Facebook’s in-app system, but we know Gen Z isn’t as interested in Facebook anymore. As the new go-to invitation service, Partiful “allows hosts to create mobile-friendly event pages and guests to receive reminders via text.” The service is primarily gaining popularity among 20-somethings who live in big cities who want a party invite more casual than Paperless Post but definitely more organized than an Instagram DMs group chat. Partiful is generally more Gen Z-friendly and gives blurry night luxe vibes (a Gen Z-loved core aesthetic). One user gave guests the option to RSVP with “either a thumbs-up or a crying-face emoji below the words ‘ENTERING MY 23 ERA.’” (NYT)
