The D’Amelios (of TikTok fame) are moving on from influencer life and starting their own businesses. Charli and Dixie D’Amelio are among the most followed creators on Gen Z’s favorite app. Combined, the sisters share over 203 million followers and are known for their dance moves, music, and brand deals. But now they’re going full Kardashian with D’Amelio Brands, where they soon plan on launching a women’s footwear brand as well as a skincare line. In the past they’ve had brand deals and partnerships with Dunkin’, Sabra, Pepsi, Strauss Group, Hollister, a fragrance by French manufacturer Robertet SA, and the whole family has a hit series on Hulu that is renewed for a second season. YPulse research shows young consumers love influencer product recommendations and 54% say they have purchased something after an online celebrity (big or small) spoke about it or recommended it.
