Millennial parents are bringing their babies on vacation and luxury hotels are creating family-friendly perks. YPulse’s Travel research shows that Millennial parents are actually more interested in travel than their non-parent peers, and bonding with their family is a top reason they travel. Other data shows that family travel is on the rise thanks to this generation, with Family Travel Association reporting that 88% of parents planned to travel with their children over the last year. As they include their little ones on their adventures, luxury hotels are rolling out amenities like baby butlers, baby-prepped suites, and baby-concierge services. Landings Resort Spa in St. Lucia will have rooms outfitted with “baby gates, high chairs, bottle warmers and a crib with a mosquito net,” and parents staying at Martinhal hotels in Portugal have access to a WhatsApp number for a baby-concierge who will provide free childcare gear and child-friendly itineraries. The ability to order baby food, pay for care for the under-four set and getting rooms baby-proofed are other perks that hotels are offering to lure in Millennial families. (WSJ)
