Fair Fight’s Civics for the Culture is a YouTube video series educating Gen Z and Millennials on the history of systemic politics. Founded by Stacey Abrams, Fair Fight is an organization that addresses voter suppression. Abrams’ political adviser and strategist, Chelsey Hall, hosts Civic for the Culture, a YouTube video series that “unpacks facts about everything from voting rights to the history of democracy, the tasks of the legislature, and the job of the governor.” Each video is five minutes long, “is filled with bright colors and visual cues,” and Hall talks in “a fun and easy way” for young viewers to relate and understand—something that politicians often don’t do. YPulse told you that racism is one of the top social causes that Gen Z and Millennials are passionate about—and according to Hall, the series was inspired by “the racially charged attacks” on BIPOC communities and Asian Americans in the U.S. from the last two years.
