Jun 23 2022

The majority of Gen Z and Millennials are looking to energy drinks to help fuel their day. According to a survey by Optimum Nutrition, 96% of 18-42-year-olds utilize energy drinks to help combat their end-of-the-week fatigue and 59% enjoy non-alcoholic energy drinks to help them socialize on Fridays and weekends. One Gen Z influencer known as Corporate Natalie, famed for her comedic work-life balance content on TikTok and Instagram, explains, “Energy drinks really came to mainstream popularity with the millennial generation. We’ve become accustomed to reaching for beverages to address energy needs, but we also are conscious about what we’re putting in our bodies, and even how our drink choices reflect our personalities.” Optimum Nutrition is tapping Corporate Natalie (with her 800K followers) to promote their new AMIN.O. Energy Sparkling drink. YPulse’s Cooking and Diets report data shows a quarter of Gen Z and Millennials are reaching for energy drinks on a typical day. (Whole Foods)
