A mom is going viral on TikTok for turning her daughter’s old Barbie dollhouse into Encanto’s casita. From TikTokers reenacting dances and scenes from the movie, to a 9-year-old fashion designer creating a dress inspired by the film’s costumes, the magic of Disney’s Encanto has clearly captivated the attention of everyone online. Now, a mother is going viral on TikTok for transforming her daughter’s old Barbie dollhouse into a casita like the one from Encanto. According to Jasmine Maestas, her 4-year-old daughter has watched the animated flick every day since it premiered last year. In fact, she loves it so much that she asked her mom to buy her a toy version of the Casa Madrigal from the movie. But instead of buying one, Maestas took matters into her own hands and instead turned her daughter’s old dollhouse into the casita. To do so, Maestas took everything out of the old dollhouse, covered it in primer, and repainted it to replicate the famous film home, and the final product has a room for each of the main characters. Maestas shared her journey of making the dollhouse on TikTok through several videos, which each garnered thousands of views. (Insider)
