Millennial foodies can gear up for their next vacation at a new food-focused hotel experience. YPulse’s Travel Report data shows 55% of Gen Z and Millennials want to stay in a hotel that reflects the local culture and Appellation hotels are making this desire central to their brand. Chef Charlie Palmer is working with “hotel industry veteran Christopher Hunsberger” on their new Appellation hotel chain that will offer visitors around the U.S. an immersive experience with all things food from “lobbies with interactive prep stations to pantries on each guest floor filled with locally sourced artisan products and curated cookbook libraries.” Guests will have the opportunity to meet a local knife maker, drink custom cocktails on a roof-top bar, sip wine as they watch live over-the-fire cooking, and sit at the Chef’s tasting Table next to famous culinary experts.
