Brands with successful marketing on Reddit are boosting engagement by speaking the language of the platform. There are over 100,000 communities on Reddit, which means a lot of young consumers can be reached on the site. The Meet Your Maker series on the Reddit for Business micro-site features marketing leaders from brands and case studies that deep-dive into their methodologies for marketing on the platform, recently highlighting Adobe’s approach of “creating content that could only make sense on Reddit.” The brand worked with in-house agency KarmaLab to make ads that use “conversational, humorous, Reddit-inspired copy”—which led to higher conversion and click-throughs. YPulse data shows Gen Z knows when they’re being advertised to and 85% agree that brands should make ads that fit in with their feed or what’s on the site already. (Adweek, SocialMediaToday)
