Snap is introducing dynamic travel ads after learning the app’s Gen Z and Millennial users are more likely to travel than users of other platforms.After reviewing company intel, Snapchat found that 76% of their U.S. users “are making plans to or already have returned to their pre-pandemic behaviors” and 37% of Gen Z and Millennials are more likely to book travel after seeing an ad. Snap also reports that over 200 million Snapchatters are using Snap Maps monthly, “with over 70% doing so because they enjoy seeing where their friends are and what they are doing.” By implementing dynamic travel ads, brands will benefit from advanced audience targeting and locally relevant campaign delivery for airlines, hotels, online travel agencies, and tours based on popularity.
