Becoming a sustainable business goes beyond helping the environment—it benefits employee well-being and boosts overall business.Climate anxiety affects the majority of Gen Z and Millennials with YPulse’s Sustainability report data showing 44% of young people worry about climate change multiple times a week, and 78% of  agreeing corporations should take more responsibility for fighting climate change. Although it may not seem like a work-related issue, it’s swiftly becoming one. According to a World Economic Forum study, 59% of employees are leaving their jobs to “join an organization more aligned with their values,” and sustainability is a key motive for this move as it’s seen as a more attractive attribute by young employees. Small things like recycling policies are of course needed but; remote/hybrid work can also be a way to  reduce carbon emissions and waste. (Fast Company)
