Taco Bell is hitting the road for a drag brunch tour this summer. The fast food chain—which is one of Gen Z and Millennials’ faves—has been making headlines this month by reintroducing its Mexican Pizza and now, announcing plans for Taco Bell Drag Brunch. The show will travel to Cantina locations and feature local drag talent. Kay Sedia will host each show, and Taco Bell Cantina locations will be decked out in special visual backdrops and will serve special menu items like a $5 Bell Breakfast Box, Cinnabon Delights Coffee, and mimosas. Additionally, each performance will spotlight the It Gets Better Project by providing attendees with information on how to get involved with the nonprofit aimed at connecting LGBTQ+ youth around the world. Consumers 18-years-old and older can start making reservations for the tour via OpenTable, while “Fire Tier” rewards members will have exclusive access to early bookings starting today, April 26. The idea for Taco Bell Drag Brunch originated from Live Más Pride, the chain’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group, showing how the fast food brand is taking on its next experiential event by celebrating drag culture.
