Everyone is obsessed with this Netflix show featuring Japanese toddlers running errands on their own. YPulse’s recent media consumption research found that Netflix is the top streaming service Millennial parents and their kids watch weekly. And many of them can’t get enough of Old Enough!, a Japanese reality show where toddlers run errands alone, doing everything from crossing the street to shopping for groceries. Each episode follows the same format, and is about 10-15 minutes long. A narrator introduces the child by stating their name, age, and the episode’s challenge. Before the kid goes on their way, the parent usually explains the errands to them and supplies them with a backpack to carry groceries and a colorful flag to help them cross the street. While the show has been popular in Japan for over 30 years, it has gained newfound popularity in the U.S., proving young consumers’ craving for international content. (The Daily Beast)
