Peeps is taking over TikTok with recipes, a life-size mascot, and more just in time for Easter. In just a few short months, Peeps has garnered a following of over 12K on TikTok and its videos have racked up thousands of views. The life-size Peeps mascot is certainly the star of the TikTok page to help the brand maintain some “peepsonality” on the entertainment platform. And tips for multiple recipes, including how to make a Peeps trifle cake and chocolate marshmallow treats, have also been part of the their TikTok strategy. The brand is also working with Sally Hansen, Build-A-Bear Workshop, and Duncan Hines to create co-branded content. Peeps has owned the rights to the @peepsbrand TikTok handle since last year, but waited until the lead up of this year’s Easter season to begin actively posting to ensure the timing was right to engage with young people.
