The Pill Club is rebranding to offer more digital health care services (including skincare) for young women. Now known as Favor, the digital health platform formerly known as The Pill Club launched a rebranded site this week to evolve beyond reproductive health and “address the shortcomings of the current health systems, starting with reproductive care and skincare.” Favor is working with a network of dermatologists to offer prescription-grade and over-the-counter skincare. This move into skincare was inspired by internal customer research that found 40% of respondents say they take birth control to control hormonal acne. To go after Gen Z and Millennial women, Favor is doubling down on paid social advertising and organic social with an emphasis on TikTok. The platform’s refreshed site also avoids gendered colors and language to show it supports the holistic health of all women and people who menstruate. YPulse told you how Midol rebranded to strengthen its bond with young people, and Favor joins the list of brands like August, Thinx, and Lola that are destigmatizing menstruation and reproductive health care for young consumers.
