Nearly a quarter of British Gen Z say they won’t work for a company that profits from unsustainable practices.

Nearly a quarter of British Gen Z say they won’t work for a company that profits from unsustainable practices. In a survey conducted by digital product studio and incubator PLAY, 24% of 13-24-year-olds say that a company’s sustainability practices would affect their decision to work for them while 68% say it’s important that the company they work for is committed to sustainability. YPulse’s recent WE sustainability research found that 80% of young Europeans agree that climate change is an immediate threat to human life, and the vast majority believe corporations should be talking about climate change and doing something about it. Our WE What’s Next for Work trend research also found that young Europeans want more meaningful work. As young people continue seeking jobs that align with their values, brands should focus on sustainability measures to attract young employees. (Business Leader)
