Miller Lite and Complexity Gaming are collaborating to put the spotlight on diverse and inclusive gamers on Twitch. YPulse’s gaming research found that nearly half of 13-39-year-olds think gaming culture is not inclusive enough, while the majority of BIPOC young consumers wish video games had more diverse characters. To better build representation in the gaming space behind-the-scenes, the Molson Coors-owned beer brand recently renewed and broadened its three-year-old partnership with Complexity Gaming to create gaming content on Twitch that “elevates minority voices.” Miller Lite will feature a diverse cast of gamers on its official Twitch channel, which has over 2K followers, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, Latinx community, and women. The first stream took place at the beginning of March in honor of Women’s History Month and pulled in 459 views. (Marketing Dive)
