Spanish fast fashion powerhouse Zara released a capsule collection made of sustainable materials. Gen Z and Millennials have been going zero-waste and finding ways to live an eco-friendly lifestyle for a while now, including seeking more sustainable ways to stay in fashion. YPulse found that 70% of 13-39-year-olds in the U.S have changed some element of their behavior, and a recent Deloitte survey also found that 35% of young U.K. consumers make a point to buy from sustainable brands. In response to this eco-revolution, Zara partnered with a Chinese steel factory to create a silk-like material made from carbon emissions. The fabric now makes up a portion of Zara’s latest party dresses, giving young consumers the chance to celebrate the holiday season in eco-friendly style. (Fast Company)
