Gaming is becoming a Millennial family bonding activity. According to a GetCenturyLink survey that asked 1,000 parents 25-years-old and older what they thought about gaming as a family, 84% of parents say that they love working from home because it gives them more time to play video games with their kids while 74% say they play games with their kids on at least a weekly basis. Additionally, 57% say they love having game nights—especially during the holidays—and 40% of parents say they believe gaming helps their child develop skills like problem-solving, decision making, and quick reflexes. YPulse research shows that the majority of Millennial parents say their kids are gaming weekly, and Fortnite and Super Mario Bros. are some of their faves. Our gaming research also shows 72% of Millennial parents feel their children are learning something when they play video games. (TheGamer)
