French luxury fashion brand Givenchy is getting into NFTs. In partnership with graphic artist Chito, Givenchy is planning to release 15 NFTs, which will feature the same prints soon to be released in their Spring 2022 collection. Though YPulse data shows that most young consumers (in the U.S.) don’t fully understand NFTs, that’s not putting a stop to the hype around this unique cryptocurrency. Celebrities, influencers, auction houses, and creators have been jumping on the NFT movement to sell digital art, images, and their own social media posts. Now, luxury brands are getting in on the action, too: Burberry and Louis Vuitton recently released NFTs while Gucci is reportedly eyeing their own NFT launch. (Haute Living)
