Urban Outfitters’ Nuuly is teaming up with Anna Sui on a collection of upcycled clothing. In a bid to attract young thrifters, Urban Outfitters’ rental-platform Nuuly is working with Anna Sui on a collection of nine dresses made from upcycled Anna Sui fabrics. Anna Sui was a no-brainer collab for Nuuly as the brand has been on the platform for quite some time—not to mention its ‘90s aesthetic has been a hit with young consumers. According to Nuuly data, Gen Z users rent 19% more vintage items, 35% more Re_nuuly items (pieces from Nuuly’s upcycled collection), and 25% more Anna Sui items. The collab is also part of Nuuly’s goal to promote sustainability—something the fashion industry is addressing now more than ever to combat the environmental impacts of fast fashion. (Glossy)
