OnlyFans is launching a (safe for work) app. For as long as the NSFW platform has existed, it has only operated as a website since apps with nudity content typically aren’t allowed on the app store. Now, all that is about to change with OnlyFans’ ad-free OFTV app, offering a library of more than 800 videos featuring lifestyle content from creators. An original series featuring conversations with creators like Mia Khalifa, Bella Thorne, and Holly Madison known as “Unlocked” will be available on OFTV, along with content from several more lifestyle creators who have been making money on OnlyFans. Lifestyle creators have grown in popularity on OnlyFans (even brands have gotten involved), and the OFTV app is attempting to make it easier for fans to discover their content since OnlyFans can be difficult to navigate. OFTV was originally released in January, but OnlyFans hasn’t promoted it until now as part of its strategy to ditch its NSFW reputation and rebrand as a tool for online creators to connect with their fans—a move that OnlyFans hopes will help it achieve a valuation worth $1 billion by the end of the year.
