Louis Vuitton is targeting teens with the help of Charli D’Amelio and Emma Chamberlin. To promote new footwear styles for their pre-fall 2021 collection, the luxury brand tapped TikToker Charli D’Amelio and YouTuber Emma Chamberlain to be the faces of their upcoming “sunny and carefree” campaign. The collection, which was designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, includes LV Squad sneakers and LV Sunset slides, and will be available in a variety of colors and is being deemed the “go-to comfy shoe for the summer.” YPulse’s most recent influencers and celebrity research reveals that 51% of Gen Z and 52% of Millennials have purchased something an online celebrity has recommended, so enlisting a famous TikToker and YouTubers could help luxury brands reach young consumers.
