Tom’s of Maine is doubling down on sustainability to reach young people. YPulse’s sustainability research shows that 58% of Gen Z feels brands should be creating more eco-friendly products, and Tom’s of Maine wants young people to know it’s dedicated to the cause now more than ever. While the brand has always been known for using natural ingredients, the “Tom’s of ___” campaign is the brand’s first purpose-focused national effort. Each ad spot (which will run across Hulu, YouTube, and other digital channels) highlights a different cause, including how Tom’s of Maine donates 10% of its profits each year to environment- and community-focused causes, uses 100% plastic-free packaging, and is championing local activism.
