German clothing conglomerate Zalando is letting consumers shop their values online, becoming the latest EU retailer to push for sustainability.

German clothing conglomerate Zalando is letting consumers shop their values online, becoming the latest EU retailer to push for sustainability. A new feature on Zalando’s website lets customers browse apparel based on their selected causes or concerns, including water conservation, animal welfare, emission reduction, and upcycling. YPulse found that 70% of 13-39-year-olds in the U.S have changed some element of their behavior or purchasing due to their concerns about climate change. Other major EU retailers are also taking on the challenge. A group of UK brands, including Marks & Spencer, Gymshark, Boohoo, and ASOS, recently signed on to the textile sustainability initiative, while Asda will now sell secondhand clothing in its shops.
