Crocs’ comeback is soaring with some saying they’re the “it shoe of the pandemic.” YPulse’s Cult of Ugly trend report told you Crocs were making a comeback thanks to the brand’s high fashion collabs and partnerships with young people (hi Post Malone). Two years later and the trend is still going strong: The brand’s first quarter revenue reached $460 million, a 64% increase from the previous year’s revenue during that period that exceeded expectations. Young people want clothing that’s comfortable, and they’re flocking to Crocs’ cult-classic styles for maximum coziness. Crocs is continuing to experiment with new styles like their platform shoes for women, and expects long-term growth in North and South America as well as Asia—the second-largest footwear market.
