More than half of young adults are willing to change what they eat to save the planet.

Jan 29 2021

More than half of young adults are willing to change what they eat to save the planet. According to a survey by plant-based milk brand Oatly, 54% of young people “are willing to change their diet to benefit the planet,” with a fifth of 16-24-year-olds decreasing their milk consumption in the last year, and 43% saying they give advice to friends and family about reducing their impact on the environment. Gen Z and Millennials have certainly been the ones fuelling the plant-based food trend, and Oatly reports “a generational disparity in understanding the impact our food and drink choices have on the environment.” (Plant Based News)
