Netflix is “sending a message” to rivals with a new movie every week. Yesterday, Netflix dropped a “slickly produced” trailer on YouTube featuring some of the top original films coming to the streamer this year including The Kissing Booth 3, the third installment of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, and Zendaya-led Malcolm & Marie. As part of the rollout, they’re expecting to drop a new movie every week. This latest move is the service’s way to disrupt the streaming wars and shake up the competition with rivals like Disney+ and HBO Max quite literally: At the end of the video, they bluntly state “Bring it. We’re not worried.” (Fast Company, The Verge)
