Walmart is testing livestream shopping on TikTok with some of its biggest influencers. As social shopping picks up, Walmart is working with TikTok to unveil a “first-of-its-kind” shoppable livestream on the platform. In the “Holiday Shop-Along Spectacular” livestream, users will be able to shop from the retailer’s fashion items without having to leave the app. As part of it, they’re recruiting popular creators like Michael Le, Devan Anderson, Taylor Hage, and Zahra Hashimee, who will host and feature the various private-label and national apparel brands from Walmart.
