Sponsored influencer posts grew by nearly 50% on Black Friday weekend this year. This was one of the biggest years for ecommerce shopping sales during Black Friday and Cyber Monday as more young consumers made purchases online. It was also a major year for influencers as brands “amped up their sponsored content on Instagram.” According to CreatorIQ, sponsored posts were up 46.6% compared to last year, with celebrities and influencers like The Rock, Lady Gaga, Amanda Cerny, Jeffree Star, and Charli D’Amelio promoting products and offering discounts.
