Kids are demanding more “spooky content” than ever this Halloween. Halloween looks a little different this year with more time being spent at home, which seems to be fueling a strong craving for scary content among kids under 13-years-old. According to Parrot Analytics, demand for “spooky kids content” is up 12.8% this month compared to last year. Gravity Falls, The Addams Family, three different Scooby-Doo series, The Twilight Zone, and Trollhunters were among the top 10 spooky shows that were most in-demand according to their algorithm. Halloween is this weekend, but based on this uptick we predict that holiday content will also see a major bump in popularity this year. (Kidscreen)
