Traditional fall festivities are still happening, with safety measures in place. YPulse found that plenty of young consumers plan to celebrate Halloween despite COVID, and it looks like autumn activities like corn mazes, pumpkin and apple picking, visits to wineries, and haunted houses are still “on the calendar.” While some places have opted to cancel, others are moving forward with the annual festivities with new safety protocols in place. Many farms and wineries are limiting capacity and implementing social distancing and mask requirements for workers and visitors, while some haunted houses are confining actors to “scare zones” or even switching to drive-thru experiences.
