Old Navy is paying employees to work at polling stations. YPulse’s new trend report Not Waiting For The World To Change found that 75% of 13-39-year-olds like when brands encourage shoppers to vote, and Old Navy is going even further with their efforts to support voting. The clothing retailer announced that they will be paying their employees to serve as poll workers for the upcoming election, in partnership with Civic Alliance and Power the Polls. As older and retired voters drop out from volunteering at polling stations during the pandemic, there are vital roles to be filled, and voting groups and board of elections across the U.S. are also recruiting high school and college students to step up.
