Snapchat is ramping up its content with the expansion of several brand deals and the addition of new features to help with advertising. Disney, NCBUniversal, ViacomCBS, NBA, and NFL are expanding deals to supply the social app with customized original and unscripted content. Meanwhile, the platform is debuting “dozens” of new features, including AI-powered lenses, mini apps, and other real-time features that will give brands new ad opportunities. Nike, Triller, and MLB have been using the new Camera Kit to incorporate Snapchat’s AR features into their apps; Mattel and Nickelodeon have integrated their mobile games with the new Bitmoji for Games function; major news outlets like BuzzFeed News, ESPN, and NBC News are supplying breaking news to the “Happening Now” portal; and DoorDash and Uber Eats are among the delivery apps that will be integrated the “Places” feature that lists local businesses in Snap Map.
