DoorDash is launching new features to support restaurants during COVID. According to the food delivery service, 40% of their restaurant partners don’t have their own online ordering system, so they launched a new Storefront initiative to help them create websites that directly manage online pickup and delivery orders. DoorDash will also be sponsoring AR lenses to allow Snapchat users to “immerse themselves” inside virtual versions of popular chains like Baskin Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake Factory, Chili’s, and Outback Steakhouse.
