Are young consumers ready to travel this summer? According to a survey by travel site The Points Guy, 31% of consumers are ready to travel this summer, but 13% are holding off until later in the season. Respondents are more inclined to travel by car, and seeking to find comfort in “the great outdoors and wide-open roads,” 44% of travelers plan to head to National Parks, and 39% to beaches. According to Airbnb, the length of stays booked by users is increasing, while distance from home is decreasing. YPulse’s upcoming trend research on young consumers’ post-Corona views found that nearly half say their travel plans have been permanently changed because of COVID. (The Points Guy, People)
