As canned goods, alcohol, and flour and yeast continue to experience a surge in sales due to the ongoing pandemic, frozen pizza and coffee are the latest industries to be hit by the wave of stockpiling consumers—and it’s leading to a shortage in the food and beverage staples. According to Newman’s Own, their frozen pies are up by 190% since the crisis began, while sales for packaged coffee sales are up 70% from last year.
