From payment relief to funding blood drives and producing medical supplies, big brands are continuing to help in the fight against COVID-19. We highlighted some of the brands who have been stepping up to show young consumers that they care. Now, American Giant and Hanes are joining in to create medical-grade masks every week, while Jo-Ann Fabrics is offering free face mask kits from the clearance bin. Some big brands have even tweaked their TV spots to align with COVID: Ford has changed their ads to focus on payment relief rather than March Madness, while Budweiser—a sponsor of the NBA—put its sports advertising money into blood drives. Food chains like Papa John’s, Burger King, and Little Caesars have edited their commercials to promote social distancing. (NBC News, BuzzFeed News, Fast Company)
