But there’s a reason behind it: creators find the once-private spaces to have optimal lighting for videos, and many are discovering the content outperforming videos shot elsewhere, in what users call “the bathroom effect.” While bathrooms are personal, they’re considered neutral and less revealing than bedrooms.
