Grocery stores are getting their own influencers.

Grocery stores are getting their own influencers. Aldi, Krogers, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and even Costco are earning fanbases who are organizing online, and launching accounts devoted to their brand love. Sites and social media groups centered on grocery stores, where fans recommend their favorite brands or post about exclusive deals, are gaining big audiences—@Costco_doesitagain has garnered over half a million followers. Some of these accounts have no affiliation to the company and are serving as free advertising for the brands, and could play an important part in reaching young grocery shoppers. (CNN)
