Microsoft and the Girl Scouts have teamed up to introduce five new STEM badges. Girl Scouts across the U.S. will have the opportunity to take free workshops, held at Microsoft stores, that include computer use, movie-making, robotics, and photography. The partnership, which is intended to give girls leadership skills and to close the gender gap in STEM fields, will also include a new leadership series where Girl Scout alums can chat with former members and STEM experts about their careers.
