Fortnite’s $30 million World Cup tournament is kicking off this weekend. The competition is the game’s (and possibly esports’) biggest event ever, spanning three days and taking over NYC’s Arthur Ashe Stadium. The gaming craze should have no problem filling out the stands either, considering players like Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Tuner “Tfue” Tenney actually have bigger fan bases than many traditional pro athletes. Those that can’t see the spectacle IRL can take their pick of six platforms to tune in from, including Twitch and Facebook. (The Verge)
