Fortnite streamers just raised millions of dollars for charity. At GuardianCon’s charity streaming event, gamers took on four-hour fundraising shifts for a full week. Gaming celebrity Ben “DrLupo” Lupo set the bar when he banked over $920,0000—thanks to donations from the likes of fellow Fortnite star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and State Farm Insurance, an unlikely brand that has been leveling up their esports involvement.
