BuzzFeed’s Camp store is looking to revolutionize kids’ retail for Millennial parents—by providing in-store childcare.

BuzzFeed’s Camp store is looking to revolutionize kids’ retail for Millennial parents—by providing in-store childcare. The boutiques provide play spaces featuring trampolines, crafts, music, and other activities. Parents can also pay $50 a month to become members who access special perks, including “free” evening childcare. The effort is expanding to include daytime field trips, and “day camp” sessions. With retail toy sales dropping and “former giants” like Toys R Us disappearing, a revolutionary approach might be what the industry needs. (Bloomberg)
