Wells Fargo is teaming up with GIPHY to become a part of your private conversations. Together, they created GIFs featuring basketball commentator Paul Pierce, and timed the campaign to coincide with the NBA Playoffs and Finals. Users who have GIPHY-integrated keyboards will see the options pop up corresponding to searches for phrases like “mic drop.” Will the campaign show young consumers that Wells Fargo speaks their language or just say, “How do you do, fellow kids?” (MediaPost)
