Hershey’s chocolate bars are getting their first-ever redesign to speak young consumers’ language: emoji. The Gen Z and Millennial-favorite candy is getting each of its chocolate squares etched with a different emoji, with smiley faces and thumbs up signs taking over spaces that have been left untouched since the bar first hit shelves over a century ago. The limited-time-only “Emoji Bar” is no doubt a strategy to sync up with the cultural zeitgeist (and encourage sharing), if only for a limited time this summer. (CNN)
