Most adults are on a second screen when they watch TV. CivicScience found that 70% of U.S. adults are browsing on a computer or phone while viewing TV or digital video. Nearly half will even do so when watching their favorite show or movie, with just 7% saying they engage with anything related to what they’re watching. And when it comes to young consumers, we found that 75% of Gen Z & Millennials use social media when watching TV. (eMarketer)
