Entrepreneurial teens could be making as much as $300,000 on Depop, a secondhand shopping app. Thrifting is trending with young shoppers as they turn to apps that set themselves apart from eBay with social media-like features. On Depop, which has a reported 13 million customers, users create a profile complete with a bio and picture, and can like, comment on, and save items as they shop. The app’s top sellers often use Instagram-worthy pics, and are earning as much as $300,000 a year (minus a 10% cut of each sale), according to a VP at the company. (Business Insider)
