McDonald’s is slowly going vegan, recently adding a “bleeding” plant-based burger to their German menu. German locations just began offering Nestle's Incredible Burger, and they’re not the only international McDonald’s to roll out vegan options, including McFalafel nuggets in Sweden and a vegan Happy Meal in the U.K. Meanwhile in the U.S., McDonald’s has been slow to respond to rising interest from young consumers, but a petition for a vegan burger that has nearly 200,000 signatures could change that.
