Millennial men’s employment rate has hit a post-Great Recession peak. The employment-to-population ratio among 25-34-year-old males reached 86.5% last month, the highest level seen since June 2008, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics—dispelling the myth that “young men were at home playing video games.” This cohort of Millennial employees is also saw a 9.9% spike in their median weekly earnings from the fourth quarter of 2017 to the same time last year.
