Disney is thinking outside the page with augmented reality children’s books. Tigra Live Animations and Little Hippo Books are working with Disney to create books that pair up with free AR apps. In ABC Fun with Mickey, kids can learn the alphabet with a 360-degree Mickey Mouse and 13 AR animations, along with interactive games and activities—like tracing letters. AR is big business in kidtech right now, with other industry giants like LEGO and Nickelodeon launching their own takes on the trend. (Kidscreen)
